This policy explains what Ainola stores and who handles your data. Ainola is a macOS app sold through Lemon Squeezy. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run a trial and validate a license.
Who we are
Ainola is made and operated by M STREET MUSIC, obrt za usluge, vl. Kristijan Sinković, Magistratska 21/1, 49000 Krapina, Croatia (OIB 24673676587). We are the data controller for the limited personal data described here. For any privacy question, write to [email protected].
What the app stores on your Mac
Ainola runs locally. It stores your trial start date, your settings, your tags and modes, and, after you buy, your license key and an activation identifier for the device. This information stays on your Mac.
License validation
To confirm an active license, Ainola contacts Lemon Squeezy and sends your license key and a device identifier. It does this on activation and periodically afterwards. No other personal data is sent.
Payments
Purchases are handled by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record and as our processor for orders and licensing. Your payment details are entered on their checkout and are never seen or stored by Ainola. Lemon Squeezy processes your name and email to complete the order and send your license key. International data transfers
Lemon Squeezy is a payments provider based in the United States, so completing a purchase involves transferring your order data outside the European Economic Area. These transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards, in particular the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, as set out in the Lemon Squeezy data processing agreement.
This website
The website sets no tracking or advertising cookies. Fonts are self-hosted, so no third party receives your visit through them. We do not build a profile of you or make automated decisions about you.
No account
Ainola has no user accounts. You do not create a username or password to use the app.
Legal basis
We process this data to give you the app and your trial and to validate your license, which is performance of our contract with you, and to protect the app against licence abuse, which is our legitimate interest.
How long we keep your data
License and activation data is kept while your license is active, and order records for as long as the law requires afterwards. Data stored on your Mac stays until you delete the app and its data. Lemon Squeezy keeps order and payment records under its own policy.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to:
- see the personal data we hold about you,
- correct data that is wrong or incomplete,
- delete your data, where the law allows,
- restrict or object to how we use it,
- receive your data in a portable form.
To exercise any of these, write to [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP, azop.hr).
